Virat Kohli is an Indian cricketer and one of the best batsmen of his generation. Some of his career highlights include:

  1. One of the fastest players to score 10,000 runs in One Day Internationals (ODIs).
  2. The fastest player to score 20,000 international runs in terms of innings played.
  3. The first Indian captain to win a Test series in Australia (2018-19).
  4. Led India to the final of the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy.
  5. Named ICC ODI Player of the Year in 2012, 2017, and 2018.
  6. Scored the fastest century by an Indian in ODIs (in 52 balls) and the fastest by any batsman against Australia (in 35 balls).
  7. Holds numerous records for scoring the most centuries in chases and the highest average in successful ODI run-chases.
  8. Scored three double centuries in a single Test season (2016-17), becoming the first batsman to achieve the feat.
  9. Has the most Test centuries (27) by an Indian captain.
Kohli has also been awarded the prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Cricketer of the Year in 2017 and 2018.
